Our Classes
Two certified instructors specializing in hazardous chemical safety and OSHA-compliant emergency procedures lead chlorine gas emergency response courses.
To ensure effective learning, our sessions are designed with small group instruction in mind. The maximum class size is 10 students, maintaining a 5:1 student-to-instructor ratio for high-quality, individualized support. During hands-on exercises and skills evaluations, we reduce the ratio to 2:1, ensuring every participant receives guided practice and detailed feedback.
We also maintain a strict 2:1 student-to-equipment ratio for all training gear, including PPE, SCBAs, gas detectors, and leak mitigation tools. This ensures each participant gains direct experience using the equipment they’ll rely on in an emergency.
Participants build the skills and confidence to take decisive, safe action during chlorine gas incidents through realistic simulations and using actual chlorine response tools.
Certifications
To earn Chlorine Gas Emergency Response certification, participants must complete all course modules and successfully demonstrate their skills during a final performance evaluation. Those who meet the requirements will receive an official AOTC certification card with their course completion date.
All attendees, including those who attend the full course but do not pass the final evaluation, can receive a Recognition of Participation (ROP).
